Under the mug press, you\u2019ll find the power cord and USB cord. Aren\u2019t you in love with the sleek and small design? I know I am! I\u2019ve been wanting a mug press for a while now, but they\u2019re all so big and bulky. Thankfully the Cricut Mug Press is small, not too heavy, and easy to store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon opening the box, you\u2019ll have this little package. This is one you\u2019ll definitely want to pay attention to! On the front, you\u2019ll find the URL for your set-up instructions. There is also a warranty folder here. You may want to read and keep this for your records. Upon activation, your product will be registered in your Cricut account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will need a compatible Windows\/Mac computer with a USB Type-A port. We will get into the \u201cWhy?\u201d of this in a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ok, now that your mug press is out of the box and unwrapped you\u2019ll want to plug it into a wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord with your mug press (or any heat press). Plug the USB cord into the back of the mug press, the port is right above the power port. The usb cord allows you to register your Cricut Mug Press, which you will need to do before you can start using it. You will need a laptop or computer with a USB port to register your Cricut Mug Press. The mug press is a type of heat press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It will show you which heat presses to choose from. Of course, you\u2019ll choose the mug press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll continue to follow the on-screen prompts. It really only takes a few minutes. As I already mentioned, Cricut does really well with product support when it comes to setting up new products.
